APTonCD 0.1 released and also in Debian repositories

It’s been a while since APTonCD 0.1 was released in feisty’s repository, one week before its final release. But unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to blog about it. Now I have 2 good news: APTonCD 0.1 is officially released (since now I’m announcing it and is also available in Debian unstable’s repository (sid)!

The package was approved today, after less than a week in the NEW’s queue.

So if you’re using Debian Lenny, Ubuntu Feisty or Gutsy, just:

sudo apt-get install aptoncd

For those who are running Debian Etch, Ubuntu Dapper or Edgy, there are packages available at sourceforge.net (or anywhere else or mirror you want to download, as the same package was made to be compatible with all these distributions).

A special thanks for Michael Vogt who sponsored this upload (and also the Ubuntu one) and Laudeci Oliveira, for coding very hard together do deliver a kick-ass/killer-app for the Ubuntu/Debian final users.
